Meet Christine

Hi — I’m Christine Wilks, founder of Second Story Spaces. I began hosting mid-term rentals for traveling nurses, digital nomads, and professionals needing 90–120 day stays. I quickly realized that temporary housing didn’t have to feel temporary. Each home deserved to feel warm, personal, and comfortable — not just “move-in ready.”

Over time, I fell in love with transforming spaces: selecting furniture, reimagining layouts, mixing thrifted décor with new pieces, and creating homes where people feel welcome, settled, and at ease.

My Journey & Credentials

My journey into design and property management started in 2021 when I began hosting mid-term rentals for traveling professionals, nurses, and families needing 90–120 day stays. What began as a single rental quickly became a passion for creating warm, functional, comforting spaces that helped people feel settled — even far from home.

Through hosting, I learned first-hand what tenants truly want: comfort that feels like home, stability during temporary transitions, beautiful design, and clear, thoughtful communication. Those early experiences shaped everything Second Story Spaces has become today.
